Hot Fudge Sundae Cake

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Cocoa 2 tbsp and 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Packed brown sugar 1 cup
  • Hot water 1-3/4 cup

Method:

  1. Combine flour, sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa, baking powder, salt, milk, oil and vanilla essence.
  2. Batter will be very thick.
  3. Spread batter into 9 inch greased pie plate or square pan.
  4. Combine brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.
  5. Spread over batter.
  6. Top with hot water.
  7. Bake on 180 degrees C for about 30-35 minutes until top is dry and puffed.
  8. Put cookie sheet underneath your pan in the oven just in case little spills over.
  9. Serve warm with ice cream.

Hot Fudge Sundae Cake is wonderful cake. It is prepared with wheat flour instead of flour. It is served warm with ice cream.
