Ingredients:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Small cardamom 3
  • Green chilies 6
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in pot, fry onion until brown and take it out.
  3. Then marinate chicken with yogurt, onion, ginger garlic paste, cardamom, cumin, bay leaves, red chili powder, salt and turmeric for 30 minutes.
  4. Now cook chicken in this ghee for 30 minutes and roast it nicely.
  5. Then put green chilies, mint leaves and 1 glass water.
  6. Now add soaked rice.
  7. When it boils, simmer it, put kewra, mix it and serve.
