Ingredients:
- Chana daal 350 gm
- Water 2 cups
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Cloves 6
- Small cardamom 6
- Saffron 1/2 tsp
For Tarka:
- Ghee 1/2 cup
- Cumin 1 tbsp
- Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
- Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Method:
- Soak daal for 30 minutes.
- Also put salt and red chili powder with water and boil until daal tender.
- Put milk, cream and yogurt in bowl and beat it.
- Now add mixture in daal.
- Then put grinded cloves and cardamom and add in daal.
- Now cook on low flame and give smoke of coal.
- Then put dissolved saffron, give tarka of ghee, cumin and garlic, put coriander leaves and serve.
