Spicy Toor Daal Fry

Ingredients:
- Arhar daal (Toor daal or Pigeon peas) 1 cup
- Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Crushed green chilies 6
- Lemons 4
- Chopped & peeled garlic cloves 4
- Whole coriander 1 tsp
- White cumin 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves few
Method:
- Soak daal with lukewarm water and soak it.
- Mix coriander and cumin and grind it.
- Now drain water of soaked daal, put 1-1/2 cup hot water and turmeric and tender daal.
- Heat oil in wok and fry garlic until golden brown.
- Now put crushed red pepper, turmeric, green chilies, coriander and cumin, roast it slightly and add daal.
- Then put daal and simmer it.
- Then put lemon juice and mint leaves and serve with hot chapati.
