Beef Satay

Ingredients:

  • Beef undercut 1 kg
  • Ground lemon grass 1/2 cup
  • Finely chopped onion 1
  • Garlic cloves 2
  • Fresh red chilies 6
  • Finely chopped ginger 1
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • White cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Fish sauce 2 tbsp
  • Dark soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden skewers 1 dozen

Method:

  1. Put lemon grass, onion, garlic, red chilies, ginger, turmeric, coriander, cumin, soya sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar and salt in bowl, make thick paste and marinate beef pieces with this mixture for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat grill pan.
  3. Soak skewers in water for 15 minutes, skew masala beef pieces and keep on grill pan.
  4. Brush it with some oil.
  5. Turn it for a while.
  6. When beef tender, take it out and serve hot.

Beef Satay is delicious dish. Beef undercut is marinated & grilled on griller. It is served in skewers and serve it with sauce or dip.
