Chicken Tikka Biryani

Ingredients:

  • Chicken leg 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Biryani:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 2-3
  • Onion fried 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Dried plums 1/2 cup
  • Whole black cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon sticks 2-3
  • Black cardamoms 2-3
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For chicken tikka: Mark cut on chicken with knife.
  2. Add lemon juice, red chili powder, all spice powder, black pepper, yellow color and salt in mixing bowl and mix it nicely.
  3. Then put chicken and marinate with masalay nicely.
  4. Then steam it in steamer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Turn chicken after 30 minutes.
  6. Now keep chicken on oven tray.
  7. Brush it with oil or ghee.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 5-7 minutes.
  9. Chicken tikka is ready.
  10. For rice: Soak rice for 2 hours.
  11. Then put water, black cumin seeds and salt in pot, mix it and boil it.
  12. Now add rice and cook till half done.
  13. Then drain water.
  14. Rice is ready.
  15. For korma: Put ghee in pot, put cardamom, cinnamon and cloves and crackle it.
  16. Then add tomatoes and mix all masalay nicely.
  17. Now put green chilies, ginger garlic paste, plums, red chili powder and all spice powder and mix it nicely.
  18. Then put half brown onion, mix it nicely and cook until it becomes paste.
  19. Korma is ready.
  20. For mixing: Put korma oil in pot.
  21. Then put half rice.
  22. Now put green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and some brown onion.
  23. Then put remaining korma.
  24. Then put remaining rice and put green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and some brown onion.
  25. Put little water in bowl, put yellow color, mix it nicely and put on sides of rice.
  26. Then put chicken on sides of rice, simmer it on high flame for 5-7 minutes and serve with khatta meetha raita.
