Ingredients:

  • Pasanday 1/2 kg
  • Lemons 2
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed ginger 2 tbsp
  • Papaya paste 2 tbsp
  • Bihari masala 3 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash pasanday nicely, hammer it.
  2. Then marinate with papaya paste, red chili powder, bihari masala, ginger, yogurt, salt, lemon juice and black pepper and leave it for a while.
  3. Now heat little oil in frying pan and fry pasanday.
  4. When water of pasanday from both sides and golden brown, serve it with onion rings, tamarind chutney, mint leaves and green chilies.

Bihari Pasanday is wonderful dish. Pasanday is marinated & fries. It is served with naan & chutney.
