Sweet Chili Fish

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillet 1/2 kg
  • Salt 3/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 3/4 tsp

For Batter:

  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Cold water for batter
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken powder 1/2 tsp
  • Dry maida for coat

For Sauce:

  • Chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tsp
  • Sweet chili sauce 1/2 cup
  • Garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sriracha sauce 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. For sauce: Put garlic in oil.
  2. When light golden, add remaining ingredients and cook until sauce is thick.
  3. Marinate fish with salt and black pepper.
  4. For batter: Mix all ingredients except dry maida and coat fish with this batter.
  5. Then fold in dry maida, coat with more batter and deep fry it.
  6. Serve fried fish with chili sauce.
