Ingredients:

  • Maida 2 tsp
  • Maida 2 oz
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Baking soda 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Water 3/4 cup
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Coco 1/2 cup
  • Butter milk 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Butter 6 tbsp
  • Milk 1/3 cup
  • Icing sugar 3 cups
  • Chopped walnuts 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Coat 15x10 inch jelly roll pan with butter and oil, dust with 2 tbsp maida and keep it aside.
  2. Now combine 1/2 cup maida, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in bowl.
  3. Now put water, butter and coco powder in saucepan and boil it.
  4. Then add in maida mixture.
  5. Now mix with mixed on medium speed.
  6. Then add butter milk, vanilla essence and eggs and beat it nicely.
  7. Now put batter in pan, bake on 180 degrees C for 17 minutes or until skewer inserted, comes out clean.
  8. Then keep on wire rack.
  9. Now put butter, milk and coco in saucepan and boil it.
  10. Then remove from stove.
  11. Now put icing sugar, vanilla essence and walnuts and mix it.
  12. Then put hot milk, keep on wire rack and cool it completely.

Sheet Cake is wonderful cake dessert. It is prepared with common ingredients of cake but with different method. Make it at your children birthday.
