Mini Orange Cream Flans

Ingredients:

For Flan:

  • Butter 3 oz
  • Maida 3 oz
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 3 oz
  • Baking powder 3/4 tsp
  • Eggs 2

For Filling:

  • Orange juice 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 3 oz
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Whipped cream for decoration
  • Orange slice for decoration

Method:

  1. Grease mini flan tin.
  2. Now beat butter and sugar.
  3. Then add eggs one by one.
  4. Now put sieved maida, baking powder and milk and mix it.
  5. Then put mixture in greased tin and bake in preheated oven on 180 degrees C for 15 minutes, take it out and cool it.
  6. For filling: Mix corn flour, sugar, orange juice and egg yolks.
  7. Then cook on low flame and add butter.
  8. Now beat egg whites until stiff.
  9. Then add in cold custard.
  10. Spread filling in center of flan, decorate with cream and orange slice and serve.

Mini Orange Cream Flans is mouth-washing dessert. Flan is prepared with maida & milk, baked and filled with orange juice mixture. Then decorated with cream and orange slice. Must this different dessert.
