Samoa Sheet Cake

Ingredients:

  • Maida 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Butter 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Coco 4 tbsp
  • Butter milk 1/2 cup
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla 1 tsp

For Frosting:

  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Milk 6 tbsp
  • Icing sugar 3 cups
  • Vanilla 1 tsp
  • Caramel sauce 1/8 cup

For Topping:

  • Roasted coconut 2-1/2 cups
  • Caramel cubes 7-8
  • Evaporated milk 1/8 cup
  • Chopped chocolate or chocolate chips 3/4 cup
  • Oil 1 tsp

Method:

  1. For cake: Spread foil on 18x13x1 inch cookie sheet and put shredded coconut.
  2. Then bake in oven on 180 degrees C for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add butter, water and coco in pan.
  4. Then bring to boil.
  5. Now add maida and sugar.
  6. When boil comes in mixture, add maida and mix it.
  7. Now add butter milk, baking soda, eggs and vanilla and mix it.
  8. Then put on cookie sheet and bake in oven on 200 degrees C for 20 minutes.
  9. For frosting: Combine milk and butter and boil it.
  10. Then add caramel sauce, icing sugar and vanilla and make smooth.
  11. When cake cooks, take it out from oven and make hole with fork.
  12. Now put frosting on it and sprinkle roasted coconut.
  13. Add caramel and evaporated milk in pan and cook until smooth.
  14. Now put coconut.
  15. Then melt chocolate or chocolate chips and put on caramel with oil.
  16. When caramel and chocolate are set, cut it and serve it.

Samoa Sheet Cake is different type of cake. Base is prepared with coconut and baked. Cake is prepared with maida & butter milk and baked again. Then topped with milk frosting and chocolate & caramel topping.
