Lemon Coconut Cake

Ingredients:

  • Butter 125 gm
  • Maida 1-1/2 cups
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup
  • Grated lemon 2
  • Caster sugar 3/4 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 1/2

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Now put maida, grated lemon, caster sugar, butter and eggs in bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. Then put mixture in 8 inch grease tin and bake for 40 minutes or till skewer inserted comes out clean.
  4. Then keep cake on wire rack and cool it completely.

Lemon Coconut Cake is mouth-washing dessert. The flavor of lemon is amazing. Must try this cake.
