Chocolate Almond Flan

Ingredients:

For Flan:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Icing sugar 2 oz
  • Cocoa powder 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 1
  • Maida 8 oz

For Almond Cream:

  • Milk 1-1/2 cup
  • Almonds ground 3 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 4 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Almond essence 2 drops
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Preheat oven on 190 degrees C.
  2. Beat butter and icing sugar and mix coco and egg.
  3. Now add flour and make smooth dough.
  4. Roll pastry lines into 8-1/2 inch and spread on pie plate.
  5. Now make hole with fork, bake for 30 minutes and cool it.
  6. Boil milk with almonds, caster sugar, cream and corn flour paste and stir it.
  7. Cool mixture, put on pie base, cool it, decorate with chocolate and cream and serve.

Chocolate Almond Flan is wonderful dessert. Flan base is prepared of cocoa powder & maida and baked. Almond & cream mixture spread on base and decorated with chocolate & cream. Try this dessert.
