Chicken Tikka

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1
  • Garlic cloves 3-4
  • Papaya ¼ tsp
  • Red chili 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Ginger 30 gm
  • Green chilies 4
  • Curd 115 gm
  • Oil for basting

Method:

  1. Cut chicken into 2 leg pieces and 2 breast pieces.
  2. Grind ginger, garlic, green chilies, red chili powder, onion and papaya and make a paste.
  3. Mix paste with curd and add salt.
  4. Marinate chicken with mixture and keep it aside for about 2 hours.
  5. Brush the chicken pieces with oil and cook on a grill or coal fire.
  6. Turn chicken around a few times until it is brown on both sides.
  7. Serve with onion rings and lemon.
