Ingredients:
- Potatoes
(peeled and cut into strips) 3 large
- All
purpose flour 1 cup
- Baking
powder 1 tsp
- Salt
1 tsp
- Black
pepper 1 tsp
- Milk
1 cup
- Egg
1
- Oil
for frying
- Salmon
fillets 1-1/2 pound
Method:
- Place potatoes in medium size
bowl of cold water.
- In other medium size mixing
bowl, mix all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir the milk and egg and stir
until mixture is smooth.
- Let mixture stand for 20
minutes.
- Heat oil large
wok.
- Fry potatoes in hot oil until tender.
- Drain them on paper towels.
- Dip fish in batter, one piece
at a time and place them in hot oil.
- Fry until fish is golden
brown.
- Drain well on paper towels.
- Sprinkle salt and vinegar on fish and chips
according to taste.
