Fish Pie

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin (rings & boiled) 1/2 pound
  • Fish boiled 1/2 pound
  • Eggs 2
  • Milk 1/2 pint
  • Cheese 1-1/2 oz
  • Bread crumb 2 oz
  • Butter 1-1/2 oz
  • Salt, black pepper and mustard to taste

Method:

  1. Boil fish in a little water with a 1 tsp salt.
  2. After it is ready, remove skin and thorns with knife and fork.
  3. Beat eggs.
  4. Add 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp mustard and 1/2 tsp salt and beat.
  5. Pour milk and keep on beating.
  6. Grease pie dish with butter.
  7. Put a layer of fish (do not mash), then layer of grated cheese, then layer of pumpkin.
  8. Repeat above step again.
  9. Then cover with bread crumb.
  10. Put above three lumps of butter.
  11. See that the dish is cleaned on sides.
  12. Then bake for 30 minutes and serve.
