Prawn Biryani

Ingredients:
For Marinate:
- Prawns 1/2 kg
- Onion slice 2
- Fried onion 2
- Chopped tomatoes 2
- Crushed green chilies 10
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Roasted & crushed cumin 3-4 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tsp
- Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
- Crushed coriander leaves small bunch
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice 1
- Raisins & cashew nuts handful
For Rice:
- Rice 2-1/2 cups
- Onion slice 1
- Bay leaves 1-2
- Cloves 3-4
- Cinnamon 2-3 inch
- Cardamom 3-4
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1-2 tbsp
For Masala:
- Cinnamon 1
- Green cardamom 3
- Cloves 4
- Nutmeg 1/2
- Mace 1
- Black cumin 1/2 tsp
- Bay leaf 1
- Fennel 1/2 tsp
For Assemble:
Method:
- Roast raisins and cashew nuts until brown.
- Marinate prawns with turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt for 1 hour and fry it slightly.
- Now take out prawns and fry onion in this oil.
- Then add green chilies, tomatoes, fried prawns, coriander, yogurt, ginger, garlic, lemon juice, turmeric, red chili powder and turmeric powder.
- Now crush fried onion with hands, put in masalay and add salt.
- For rice: Heat oil and put bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
- Now put onion and fry it slightly until onion is soft.
- Now add soaked rice and put water.
- Then cook rice on medium flame until it cooked 3/4.
- Then drain water and keep it aside.
- For masalay: Roast all ingredients in pan, grind it and store in container.
- For assemble: Put prawns in pot.
- Then make layer of half rice and put 1 tbsp oil on top.
- Now put fried onion, cashew nut and raisins and sprinkle 1/4 tsp biryani masala.
- Then sprinkle 1 pinch saffron.
- Now put these 4 ingredients and make layer.
- Then cover pot with aluminum foil and simmer it on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
- Then mix masalay with rice and serve with coriander chutney and raita.
Prawn Biryani is tasty dish. It is prepared in long method. Make it with your own and simple method.
