Bread & Cheese Pudding

Ingredients:

  • Bread slice 6-8
  • Cottage cheese 2 packets
  • Fresh milk 1 liter
  • Small cardamom 8
  • Sugar 1 bowl
  • Khoya 125 gm
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Raisins 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Almonds, Pistachios as required

Method:

  1. Cut all sides of bread slices.
  2. Heat oil in wok and deep fry bread slices.
  3. When golden brown take it out.
  4. Now put milk, khoya and small cardamom in pot and cook it.
  5. When it is thick, dissolve corn flour in little milk, mix in milk, cook for 2 minutes and remove it.
  6. Then mix sugar and water and make syrup.
  7. When sugar dissolves, put grated cheese, cook for 2 minutes and remove it.
  8. Then make layer of milk in wide and deep dish, cut bread slices into 2 pieces and spread on milk.
  9. Then put almonds, pistachios, 1/4 cup raisins and cheese syrup.
  10. Then put milk, cheese syrup and 1/4 cup raisins again, cool it and serve cold.
