Chicken Stew

Ingredients:

  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Potato 1
  • Chicken 500 gm
  • Cloves 2-3
  • Cardamom 2-3
  • Cinnamon 1 inch
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4-5
  • Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2-3 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Coconut milk powder 1 cup
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and clove, when cooked little, add fenugreek seeds and stir it.
  2. Now put green chilies and onion and fry it slightly until onion is soft.
  3. Now put ginger garlic paste, tomato, turmeric and coriander powder and fry more until oil separates.
  4. Then put chicken and potato with salt water and cook until chicken and potato tender.
  5. Mix coconut powder with water, add in stew and boil it.
  6. Then put garlic and green chilies with coriander leaves and serve with ghee rice.

Chicken Stew is delicious dish. Addition of coconut milk powder is amazing. It is served with ghee rice.
