Mong Bean Salad

Ingredients:

  • Crystal noodles or mong bean noodles 1 packet
  • Prawns 250 gm
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salad leaves 4-5
  • Onion 1
  • Green onion 1 bunch
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Whole Thai red chilies 3-4
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Fish sauce 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak noodles in cold water for 1 hour.
  2. Boil water in pot, cook noodles for 3 minutes, take it out and cook in cold water.
  3. When it cools, strain it and keep it aside.
  4. Put water in pot, boil prawns with garlic paste for 4-5 minutes, take it out and keep it aside.
  5. Now cut onion, green onion, tomatoes and red chilies into slices and put in mixing bowl.
  6. Then add finely chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Now put fish sauce, Chinese salt and lemon juice and mix it.
  8. Then add boiled prawns and mix noodles.
  9. Now add salad leaves and dish out it.
  10. Mong bean salad is ready.

Mong Bean Salad is amazing salad. It is prepared with mong bean noodles, prawns and Thai red chilies. You can prepare it with fish, chicken or meat.
