Jhinga Or Aloo Ka Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Black cumin 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Whole black pepper 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies paste 2 tbsp
  • Green meethi 250 gm
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Star anise 1 tbsp
  • Onions 2
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Water 2 cups

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until brown.
  2. Now roast ginger garlic, black cumin, black pepper, potatoes and prawns.
  3. Now put water and green chilies paste and simmer it for 20 minutes.
  4. Now put rice and cook it.
  5. When water dries, put meethi, ginger and star anise and simmer it.

Jhinga Or Aloo Ka Pulao is tasty dish. It is cooked in different method. It can be prepare with fish or meat or chicken.
