Mushroom Ragout

Ingredients:

  • Chopped mushrooms 3-4
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp + 1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Button mushrooms 9-10
  • Cream 1 tbsp
  • Mustard 1/4 tsp
  • Salt, Black pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Soak mushrooms in hot water.
  2. Put olive oil and butter in pan and heat it.
  3. Now add onion and garlic and saute until onion is pink.
  4. Then add button mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Now add mushroom and mushroom stock and saute it.
  6. Then mix cream, mustard, salt and black pepper and serve with crusty bread.

Mushroom Ragout is tasty dish. Mushrooms is cooked in olive oil and butter. Then mixed with cream and served with crusty bread.
