Overnight French Toast

Ingredients:

  • Packed light brown sugar 1 cup
  • Corn syrup 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • French bread 10 slices
  • Milk 2-1/2 cups
  • Maida 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1-1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Put brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in saucepan, cover it, cover it and cook on medium flame until bubble comes.
  2. Now put mixture in greased baking dish.
  3. Then make layer of bread slice on top of corn syrup.
  4. Now put milk, maida, vanilla essence, salt and eggs in bowl and whisk it nicely.
  5. Then put eggs mixture on top of bread slices layer.
  6. Now cover it and keep in fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
  7. Before baking, combine sugar and cinnamon powder and put on bread.
  8. Then bake in oven on 180 degrees C for 50 minutes or till golden.

Overnight French Toast is amazing dish. Prepared with French bread, corn syrup, milk and brown sugar. Kept in fridge overnight and then baked.
