Toor Daal Fry

Ingredients:

  • Toor daal (Arhar daal) 1 cup
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Crushed green chilies 6
  • Lemons 4
  • Chopped garlic 4
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves few

Method:

  1. Wash daal with lukewarm and soak it.
  2. Mix whole coriander and cumin and crush it.
  3. Now drain water of soaked daal, put lukewarm water and some turmeric and tender daal.
  4. Then heat oil in wok and fry garlic until golden brown.
  5. Now put red chili, turmeric, green chilies, whole coriander and cumin, roast it slightly and add daal.
  6. Then put salt and simmer it.
  7. When it is simmer, put lemon juice and mint leaves and serve with hot chapati.

Toor Daal Fry is tasty dish. It is prepared with same method as of other daal. Serve with hot naan.
