Spanish Chicken Quiche

Ingredients:

For Pie Crust:

  • Butter 150 gm
  • Vegetables 150 gm
  • Maida 1/2 kg
  • Salt 10 gm
  • Water 75 gm

For Stuffing:

  • Cream 1/2 liter
  • Eggs 4
  • Egg yolk 1
  • Chicken 500 gm
  • Spinach 1 cup
  • Cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper as required
  • Mushrooms 1 tin

Method:

  1. Preheat oven on 175 degrees C.
  2. Mix maida and salt, mix with butter, vegetables and little water and make dough.
  3. Then make balls, fold in plastic and keep in fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll dough, keep on pie plate and sprinkle cheddar cheese.
  5. Mix chicken, spinach, mushrooms, cream, salt and black pepper nicely and put on pie.
  6. Whisk eggs and put on chicken mixture.
  7. Add remaining cheese, bake in oven for 20-25 minutes and serve.

Spanish Chicken Quiche is savory dish. Pie crust is prepared with butter and maida. Stuffed with chicken & spinach mixture, topped with cheese and baked.
