Jam Tart

Ingredients:

  • Rolong (everything should be cold) 5 oz
  • Fine flour 5 oz
  • Hard butter 6 oz
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 1 oz
  • Vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Mix rolong, flour and butter (if the mixture becomes soft, use flour and rolong) add 1 beaten egg.
  2. If the mixture is hard, add milk, otherwise not.
  3. Grease round deep tin.
  4. Make two parts from mixture and lay a layer of one part in bottom.
  5. Pour into it jam (1/2 pound apricot jam} and decorate on the top as you like.
  6. (Shape the pieces like rope and lay on top) push in an oven to bake.
  7. This requires medium oven and takes 45 minutes to bake.
