Chana Daal Palak

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chana daal 300 gm
  • Spinach 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Green chilies 6-8
  • Ginger garlic chopped 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Whole cumin (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Kasoori meethi 1-2 tbsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil or steam spinach, chop it, dry its water nicely and keep it aside.
  2. Now boil chana daal hard.
  3. Then heat oil in pan, add tomato cubes, also add ginger garlic and roast until tomatoes tender.
  4. Now add boiled chana daal and spinach and cook on high flame.
  5. Then add crushed red chilies, coriander, cumin, all spice and green chilies and cook until mixtures leaves oil.
  6. Then put kasoori meethi, mix it, take out dish and serve.

Chana Daal Palak is tasty dish. Then combination of chana daal and palak is amazing. Serve with rice or naan.
