Machli Ka Pulao

Ingredients:
- Surmai fish 1 kg
- Rice 750 gm
- Onion 2
- Green chilies paste 4 tbsp
- Star anise powder 1 tsp
- Fennel powder 1 tbsp
- Salt 1-1/2 tsp
- Tomatoes 1/2 kg
- Green chilies 6
- Curry leaves 6
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Cumin 2 tsp
- Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Water as required
Method:
- Put some salt on fish.
- How heat some oil and fry onion until brown.
- Now add cumin, put fish and fry it.
- When fish is red, close stove.
- Fry onion until brown in second pot.
- Then put ginger garlic, tomatoes, green chilies paste, salt and curry leaves.
- Now put rice and water.
- When rice simmered, put fennel powder, star anise powder, fried fish and oil.
- Then put ginger and green chilies and close stove.
Machli Ka Pulao is delicious rice dish. Surmai fish is used. You can use any fish. Must try this pulao.
