Achari Mash Ki Daal

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chana daal 1 cup
  • Boiled mash daal 1/2 cup
  • Garlic crushed 2 tsp
  • Tomatoes paste 250 gm
  • Big green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Chaat masala 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tbsp
  • Red chili 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Curry leaves 6

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  2. Now add mustard seeds, onion seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds and also put curry leaves.
  3. When aroma comes, add tomatoes paste and tamarind pulp.
  4. Then put red chili, turmeric, salt and curry leaves and roast it slightly.
  5. Now add boiled daal and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  6. Then sprinkle coriander leaves, green chilies and chaat masala and serve.

Achari Mash Ki Daal is tasty dish. Combination of chana daal and mash daal is amazing. Serve with hot naan.
