Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Roll

Ingredients:

For Chocolate Swiss Roll:

  • Eggs 5
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Maida 4 oz
  • Cocoa powder 1 oz
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

For Filling:

  • Vanilla ice cream 1 liter
  • Cherry pie filling 1/2 tin

For Topping:

  • Whipped cream 8 oz
  • Cherry pie filling 2-3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar for 10 minutes until double.
  2. Now mix maida, sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla essence, sieve it and add beaten eggs mixture.
  3. Then spread mixture slowly slowly in lines swiss roll tray with greased paper.
  4. Now beak in preheated oven on 190 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  5. Then take it out in clean towel dusted with sugar and roll like swiss roll.
  6. Now open it after 5 minutes, fill with vanilla ice cream and cherry pie filling and keep in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  7. Now take it out and cover with whipped cream.
  8. Decorate with cherry pie filling and serve chilled.

Chocolate Cherry Ice Cream Roll is delicious dessert. Swiss roll is prepared with maida & coco powder and baked. Filled with vanilla ice cream and cherry pie filling. Topped with cream & cherry pie filling and served chilled.
