Lobia Masala

Ingredients:

  • White beans 250 gm
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies slice 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak white beans overnight.
  2. Heat oil and fry onion until light brown.
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste, tomato paste and all spices and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Then put white beans, fry for 5 minutes and add 4 cups water.
  5. Now cook on low flame for 1 hour till beans tender.
  6. Then garnish with coriander leaves and green chilies and serve.

Lobia Masala is healthy and delicious dish. It is prepared with white beans. You can add some more ingredients. Serve with khameeri naan.
