Ingredients:

  • Fresh milk 2 liter
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Small cardamom 8
  • Kalakand 1 cup
  • Rice 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Almonds, Pistachios as required

Method:

  1. Wash rice and soak for 15 minutes.
  2. Put milk in pot and cook until thick.
  3. Put soaked rice, cardamom and sugar and cook it.
  4. Also stir it continuously.
  5. All ingredients are combined, close stove.
  6. After cooling for 15 minutes, add condensed milk.
  7. Also put some almonds and pistachios, put in bowl and set it.
  8. Then put crushed kalakand.
  9. Then decorate with almonds, pistachios and silver paper and serve.

Kheer is delicious dish. It is common sweet dish in Pakistan. It is prepared with milk and rice. Topped with nuts and kalakand.
