Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 200 gm
  • Rice 3/4 cups
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onion slices 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/4 cup
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 5-6 cloves
  • Chopped garlic 1 inch
  • Green cardamom 2
  • Cloves 2
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Black pepper 5
  • Green chilies 3
  • Mint leaves 2 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Boil rice in 2 cups water and strain it.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add onion and saute until golden brown.
  3. Then add chicken mince and saute in continuously.
  4. Now add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder.
  5. Now add yogurt and 1/2 cup water and cook until mince tender.
  6. Then add all spice powder.
  7. Now heat oil in other pan and fry cumin until color changes.
  8. Then put ginger, garlic, cardamom, cloves, black pepper and green chilies an saute it.
  9. Now mix cooked mince in rice, add mint leaves and coriander leaves, toss it nicely, mix it and serve hot.

Keema Biryani is tasty dish. It is prepared with chicken mince. You can prepare it with mutton or beef mince. It is served with spicy spinach raita.
