Ingredients:

  • Finely chopped mince 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Mong daal (with skin) 1 cup
  • Finely chopped spinach 4 cups
  • Finely chopped soya 1 bunch
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 3 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Coriander 1-1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

For Bhagar:

  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Fried onion 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 2
  • Mix whole spice 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put mix whole spice, fried onion, all spices and mince in hot oil and fry it.
  2. Now add yogurt, fry more, cover it and cook it.
  3. Then add daal, spinach and soya and cook till half done.
  4. Add rice and 3-4 cups water and cook till full done.
  5. Then put bhagar with green chilies and coriander leaves and serve.

Shola is similar to haleem dish. It is prepared with mince, rice, daal and vegetables. Garnished with bhagar, coriander leaves & green chilies and serve.
