Fried Gyoza

Ingredients:
For Gyoza Wrap:
- Maida 2 cups
- Eggs 2
- Corn flour 1/2 cup
- Oil for fry
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
For Filling:
- Prawns 125 gm
- Boneless chicken 250 gm
- White pepper powder 1 tsp
- Spring onion 1-2
- Soya sauce 1 tsp
- Chinese salt 1 pinch
For Sauce:
- Japanese soya sauce 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice 4 tbsp
- Finely chopped green onion 2-3
For Garnish:
- Cabbage as required
- Sesame oil as required
Method:
- For sauce: Add all ingredients in bowl and mix it. Sauce is ready.
- For wrap: Put corn flour, eggs, salt and water in maida and knead it.
- Then roll thick and long wrap.
- Cut wraps with round mold.
- For filling: Put all ingredients in chopper, make paste and keep it aside.
- For gyoza: Put chicken mixture in wrap and close sides in shape of moon with help of eggs.
- Now put oil in pan.
- Then keep 5-6 gyoza together.
- When it starts frying, put 2-3 tbsp water and cover it for 1-2 minutes.
- Then open cover and take out gyoza.
- Then dish out it and serve with cabbage and sauce.
Fried Gyoza is Japanese pan fried dumplings. It is prepared with chicken & prawns mixture. Stuffed in wraps, closed and fried. Served with sauce.
