Ingredients:

For Gyoza Wrap:

  • Maida 2 cups
  • Eggs 2
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

For Filling:

  • Prawns 125 gm
  • Boneless chicken 250 gm
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Spring onion 1-2
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch

For Sauce:

  • Japanese soya sauce 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Finely chopped green onion 2-3

For Garnish:

  • Cabbage as required
  • Sesame oil as required

Method:

  1. For sauce: Add all ingredients in bowl and mix it. Sauce is ready.
  2. For wrap: Put corn flour, eggs, salt and water in maida and knead it.
  3. Then roll thick and long wrap.
  4. Cut wraps with round mold.
  5. For filling: Put all ingredients in chopper, make paste and keep it aside.
  6. For gyoza: Put chicken mixture in wrap and close sides in shape of moon with help of eggs.
  7. Now put oil in pan.
  8. Then keep 5-6 gyoza together.
  9. When it starts frying, put 2-3 tbsp water and cover it for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Then open cover and take out gyoza.
  11. Then dish out it and serve with cabbage and sauce.

Fried Gyoza is Japanese pan fried dumplings. It is prepared with chicken & prawns mixture. Stuffed in wraps, closed and fried. Served with sauce.
