Kashmiri Kofta Gravy Recipe

Ingredients:
For Kofta:
- Chicken mince 1/2 kg
- Onions 2
- Egg 1
- Bread slices 2-3
- Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri chili paste 2 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Crushed red chili 1 tsp
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Oil for deep fry
For Gravy:
- Tomato puree 1 cup
- Kashmiri chili paste 1/2 cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Chopped onion 2
- Oil 3-4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- For koftay: Fry onion in pan on high flame for 1 minute.
- Now add chicken mince, bread slice, fried onion, egg, garlic, Kashmiri red chilies paste, cumin powder, black pepper and salt in chopper and make paste.
- Now make koftay and fry it slightly.
- For gravy: Put oil in pan and fry onion until light brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Now put beaten tomato puree and yogurt.
- Then add remaining ingredients and roast it nicely.
- Mixture dries and leaves oil, put water and koftay in gravy and leave for 10-15 minutes on low flame.
- When koftay is ready, take out in dish, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
Kashmiri Kofta Gravy is delicious dish. It is prepared with same method as of other kofta dish. Kashmiri red chilies paste is added. Serve with rice.
