Ingredients:
- Boiled sela rice 1/2 kg
- Sugar 1/2 kg
- Water 1 cup
- Mixed ashrafiyaan 1 cup
- Khoya 250 gm
- Yellow color 1 pinch
- Red color 1 pinch
- Green color 1 pinch
- Chum chum 250 gm
- Kewra essence few drops
- Silver paper as required
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Ghee 1/2 cup
- Dry fruits 1/2 cup
Method:
- Put ghee, sugar, cardamom powder, kewra essence and water in pan and cook it nicely.
- When syrup is ready, put boiled rice, mix it and simmer it for 45 minutes.
- When simmered and put dissolved green, red and yellow color in distance.
- Now put khoya, ashrafiyaan and chum chum and close stove.
- Then take out in dish, garnish with dry fruits and silver paper and serve.
Mutanjan is tasty sweet rice dish. It is similar dish as zarda. It is common dish in Pakistan. It is served in many home parties.
