Kashmiri Lauki Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Bottle gourd 1 kg
  • Green chilies 3
  • Finely chopped tomatoes 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Crushed white cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil in wok and put tomatoes.
  2. Also add salt and white cumin.
  3. When water of tomatoes dries, roast it slightly, put bottle, sugar and red chili and roast it nicely.
  4. When oil separates, put lemon juice, green chilies and butter and simmer it.
  5. Serve with rice or parathay.

Kashmiri Lauki is tasty dish. It is prepared with bottles gourd. Butter is also added. Serve with rice or parathay.
