Chickpea Roll Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Mustard 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Oil 3-4 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Tamarind pulp 4-5 tbsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Roll wraps as required
  • Oil for deep fry

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pot, cook mustard and whole coriander for 2-3 minutes, add tomatoes slices and cook until soft.
  2. Then add boiled chickpeas, salt and red chili powder, cook more for 3-4 minutes on high flame, add tamarind pulp, chaat masala and sugar, cook it and add onion and coriander leaves.
  3. Now spread this mixture on roll wraps, spread egg white on side of wraps, fold it, deep fry until golden brown and serve

Chickpea Roll is new variety roll. It is prepared with chickpeas and vegetables. Wrapped in roll wraps and deep fried. Serve with sauce.
