Shikampur Recipe

Ingredients:
- Pasanday 1/2 kg
- Chana daal 1/2 kg
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Whole red chilies 12
- Coriander 1 tsp
- Big cardamom 2
- Water 2 cups
- Kabab chini 4
- Yogurt 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Oil for fry
- Eggs as required
- Maida as required
For Filling:
- Finely chopped onion 1
- Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
- Finely chopped mint leaves 2 tbsp
- Chopped green chilies 2-3
Method:
- Wash pasanday and cook with ginger garlic, salt, chana daal, yogurt, kabab chini and big cardamom with 2 cups water in pressure cooker until pasanday tender.
- Now chop with lemon juice in chopper.
- For filling: Mix all ingredients, make kabab of pasanday and fill with onion mixture.
- Coat kabab with maida, dip in eggs, fry it and serve.
Shikampur is Hyderabadi kabab dish. Kabab is prepared with pasanday & chana daal and filled with onion. Fries and serve with rice.
