Corn Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
- Rice 1 cup
- Corn 1 cup
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Finely chopped onion 1
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Crushed coriander leaves 2 tbsp
For Green Chutney:
- Crushed coriander leaves 1/4 cup
- Mint leaves chopped 1 tbsp
- Crushed ginger 1/2 inch
- Chopped green chilies 2
- Garlic cloves 3
- Coconut powder 1 tbsp
- Bay leaf 1
- Small cardamom 2
- Cloves 2-3
- Cinnamon 1 inch
- Star anise 1
- Mace 2
- Cumin 1/2 tsp
- Whole black pepper 4-5
Method:
- Put all ingredients of chutney in blender, blend it nicely and put little water.
- Now heat oil in pan, onion and whole black pepper and fry it.
- Then put chutney, mix it and cook few seconds.
- Then put corn, turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix it nicely.
- Now put rice, salt and water and cook it.
- Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve with raita.
Corn Rice is tasty dish. Rice & corn is cooked with green chutney and served with rice. Green chutney is prepared with green chilies, coriander leaves and mint leaves.
