Koyla Dal Makhani Recipe

Ingredients:
- Boiled mong daal 1/2 kg
- Salt as required
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Cumin 1 tbsp
- All spice powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Chopped onions 2
- Chopped capsicum 1
- Chopped carrot 1
- Butter 200 gm
- Cream 1 packet
For Bhagar:
- Crushed garlic 2 cloves
- Cumin 1/2 tsp
- Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
- Butter 4 tbsp
- Coal for smoke
Method:
- Boil daal.
- Now put butter and onion in pan and saute it.
- When onion is pink, add ginger garlic paste, carrot and capsicum and saute it.
- Now put tomatoes.
- When tomatoes are soft, add spices one by one and roast it.
- Masala roasted, add daal and cook it.
- When daal is thick, put cream and whisk it.
- Now put butter in pan and fry garlic until golden.
- Then add cumin and green chilies and close stove.
- Then put bhagar on daal.
- Then give smoke of coal and serve with chapati or parathay.
Koyla Dal Makhani is delicious & new daal dish. Mong daal and vegetables are used. Then bhagar is poured and given smoke of coal. Serve with chapati or paratha.
