Dahi Gosht Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Lemons 4
  • Finely chopped fresh red chilies 8-10
  • Roasted & crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Oil to taste

Method:

  1. Put oil, mutton, ginger garlic paste and salt in pot and cook until water of mutton dries.
  2. Now roast it slightly, add hot water and tender mutton.
  3. When meat tender, put red chilies, black pepper and yogurt, roast it for 5 minutes and simmer it.
  4. When water of yogurt dries, add lemon juice, cumin and ginger and serve with hot chapati.

Dahi Gosht is tasty & spicy dish. Mutton and yogurt are used to prepare this dish. Fresh red chilies are also added. Serve with chapati or naan.
