Pan Fried Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients:

For Marination:

  • Chicken breast 250 gm
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Chopped basil leaves few
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Crushed garlic 2-3 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Whole green mustard 1 tsp
  • Green peppercorn 1 tsp
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Mushrooms 1 cup
  • French beans 1 cup
  • Carrot 1 cup
  • Basil leaves 6-8
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Sour cream 2 tbsp

For Stock:

  • Mutton with bones 2-3 pieces
  • Cloves 2
  • Cinnamon 1/2 inch
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Potato 1
  • Onion cubes 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Carrot dices 1
  • French beans 10

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with lemon juice, basil leaves, worcestershire sauce, ginger garlic paste and salt and keep in fridge for half night.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  3. Then put masala chicken, cover it and cook until chicken tender.
  4. For sauce: Heat oil in pan and fry onion and garlic.
  5. Now add stock, green mustard, peppercorn, chili flakes and mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes till mushrooms tender.
  6. Then put vegetables and basil and cook until it becomes gravy.
  7. Now close stove and put sour cream.
  8. Serve with pasta, dinner roll and rice.
  9. For stock: Put mutton, spice and water in pressure cooker and cook it.
  10. Then put vegetables and cook it.
  11. Now strain meat and spices with strainer and cool it.
  12. Then blend remaining mixture according to sauce.

Pan Fried Chicken Stroganoff is Russian dish. Chicken is marinated & cooked. Stock is prepared with mutton & vegetables and cooked in pressure cooker. Then chicken is mixed with stock & mushroom sauce and served with rice or pasta or dinner roll.
