Mutton Jalfrezi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Tomato ketchup 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Capsicum cubes 2
  • Onions 2
  • Raw onion paste 2
  • Long chopped green chilies 4
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed white cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in wok, put raw onion paste, fry until light pink, put meat pieces,  ginger garlic and salt and cook it.
  2. When water of meat dries, add red chili, soya sauce, vinegar, chili sauce and black pepper, roast it slightly and put tomato ketchup.
  3. Now stir fry capsicum, green chilies and onion in little oil in other pan and put in wok.
  4. Then add sesame oil and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  5. Delicious mutton jalfrezi is ready.

Mutton Jalfrezi is delicious dish. Mutton is cooked and mixed with ketchup & stir fried vegetables. It is common recipe in Pakistan. You can use chicken or beef.
