Handi Dal Chana Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chana daal 2 cups
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed garlic 1/2 tsp
  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 2
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put onion, garlic, red chilies, mustard seeds, curry leaves, tomato paste, red chili powder, turmeric and salt in hot handi and fry it.
  2. Now put chana dal and 1/2 cup water, cover it and cook it.
  3. Then put coriander leaves and green chilies and serve with naan.

Handi Dal Chana is tasty daal. Chana dal is cooked with spices in handi and garnished with coriander leaves & green chilies. Serve with hot naan and onion rings.
