Achari Bhindi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Okra 1/2 kg
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • White cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves, Green chilies as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put onion seeds, fennel seeds, white cumin, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry it little.
  2. Now put crushed red chili, ginger paste, garlic paste and turmeric.
  3. Then add okra and roast it slightly.
  4. Then put salt and cover it.
  5. Add tamarind pulp after 5 minutes and stir it.
  6. Now cover it.
  7. Put chopped tomato after 1 minute.
  8. Them take out in plate and put coriander leaves and green chilies.

Achari Bhindi is delicious & spicy dish. Then flavors of achari is amazing. Tamarind pulp is also added. Serve with hot naan.
