Chana Pulao Recipe

Ingredients:
- Chickpeas 1 cup
- Rice soaked 1 cup
- Oil 5 tbsp
- Onion slice 1
- Ginger paste 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Whole cumin 1 tsp
- Whole black pepper 6
- Cloves 6
- Small cardamom 1
- Cinnamon 1/2
- Salt 1 tsp
Method:
- Soak chickpeas half night and then boil it.
- Now heat in pan and fry onion until brown.
- Now put ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin, black pepper, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, salt and water.
- Then mix it.
- Water dries, put soaked rice and water and cook it.
- When rice half tender, mix chickpeas and simmer it for 5 minutes.
Chana Pulao is tasty dish. It is common rice dish in Pakistan. You can add some vegetables. Serve with raita.
