Chana Pulao Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas 1 cup
  • Rice soaked 1 cup
  • Oil 5 tbsp
  • Onion slice 1
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Whole cumin 1 tsp
  • Whole black pepper 6
  • Cloves 6
  • Small cardamom 1
  • Cinnamon 1/2
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak chickpeas half night and then boil it.
  2. Now heat in pan and fry onion until brown.
  3. Now put ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin, black pepper, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, salt and water.
  4. Then mix it.
  5. Water dries, put soaked rice and water and cook it.
  6. When rice half tender, mix chickpeas and simmer it for 5 minutes.

Chana Pulao is tasty dish. It is common rice dish in Pakistan. You can add some vegetables. Serve with raita.
