Kung Pao Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

For Marination:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Egg white 1
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Sauce:

  • Soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Talhar chili 1
  • Crushed garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Peanut 1 tbsp
  • Green onion 1-2 sticks
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put marination ingredients in bowl and mix it.
  2. Now heat oil in pan, fry chicken until light golden and take out in tissue paper.
  3. For sauce: Heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  4. Then add soya sauce, vinegar, talhar chili and peanuts and fry it.
  5. Then add salt and chicken stock and cook it.
  6. Then dissolve corn flour in water, add little little and mix it.
  7. When sauce is thick, add chicken, mix it, take out in dish, garnish with green onion and serve.

Kung Pao Chicken is Chinese cuisine. Chicken is marinated and fried. Sauce is prepared with soya sauce & peanuts, mixed with chicken and served.
