Chicken Jalfrezi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Capsicum 2
  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Mustard paste 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Onion paste 1/2 cup
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with mustard paste, salt, ginger garlic, yogurt, all spice powder and red chili powder for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat oil, put onion paste, roast it, put masala chicken and cover it.
  3. Then cook chicken on medium flame for 15 minutes.
  4. Then flame high, put capsicum, onion, tomatoes, tomato ketchup, lemon juice, green chilies and tomato ketchup, simmer it for 5 minutes and close stove.
  5. Chicken jalfrezi is ready.

Chicken Jalfrezi is common food in Pakistan. It is prepared with chicken boneless, vegetables and tomato ketchup. Serve with boiled rice.
